Script

On December 1-7 my group and I created our script. 

The storyline of our film is about 3 girls, Sarah, Ally, and Ashley, who are all best friends and find out that Patty, the creepy girl who followed Ally home from a basketball game, moved in next door.  Patty is obsessed with Ally and wants to ruin her perfect life. Her plan to do this is to kidnap Sarah as she is leaving Ally's house. 






I created the script with help from my team members. Rachel helped me with the storyline of our script as I typed it onto my computer. I fixed up our original script to match what an actual script looks like. I took part in writing in descriptions of our characters and when and where our scenes took place. Once we had our film completed, I watched it and fixed some of the characters lines since they were not word-for-word.

Our target audience for our film aims towards teenagers and college students of the age of 14-23. Our target audience, relating to gender, aims towards young women since our film is based on women as well.  The Neighbor  is directed toward people who are both middle and upper-class because Ally, Sarah, and Ashley all have a higher income. Distribution Research- Get Out

Get Out  has a variety of types of digital distribution they decided to utilize. Viewers can find the movie Get Out  on Amazon Prime and on Blu-ray DVD. These two specific types of digital distribution are very beneficial towards getting their target audience to watch their movie. Many people, in this day and time, use Amazon Prime Video, which allows users to watch and buy movies for free if they have a paid membership. If not, people can view a movie by either buying or renting it for a very cheap price. Blu-Ray DVD is also another efficient way of promoting a movie to get viewers to watch because Blu-Ray DVD is very popular for ages of 14-23 and allows people to watch movies in a high resolution, to have a good experience of watching a movie.
