Scout locations

During December 3-7, my group and I planned where we were going to film for our project.

The house we chose to film at was Meredith's, which is because her house is a new modern house. We were attempting to inform the audience that the main character, Ally, is a rich girl who everyone was jealous of because of her popularity and wealth, especially her new next door neighbor, Patty. We filmed most of the scenes at Meredith's house as the girls were supposed to have a fun day at Ally's house while her parents weren't home.
My group and I decided to film in Meredith's backyard as we believed it would look creepy, if at night, where Patty, Ally's stalker neighbor, would invade onto her property while Ally, her friends, and her parents were gone. Meredith's gates surrounding her house are not very high, making it very possible in real-life to trespass onto the property. This scene shows the viewer why it is important to be responsible and not leave your house unlocked when your parents are not home.
Our group chose Meredith's neighbor's house to be Patty's house in our film since it looks rundown and looks creepy. The house was a perfect match for Patty since she is eerie. By making this Patty's house, the audience will feel a sense of fear and suspicion towards her.

Meredith took the role on taking pictures for the scout locations. She was the best fit for this job since our entire film was filmed at Meredith's house and her neighbor's house.
