Casting
Sarah:
Sarah is one of Ally's best friends who is 17 years old. She has a job and is very responsible for everything she has and does. I was chosen to play Sarah because, in real life, I am very close with Lauren and Rachel and we have a good connection with each other.
Ally:
Ally is a privileged teenager who is 18 years old and lives in a nice house. Her best friends are Ashley and Sarah and she lives a great life. She can be judgemental to others who she dislikes. We chose Rachel to play Ally because she has a sassy side to her personality and has played the main character in a previous film, so she has had practice as the main character.
Ashley:
Ashley is one of Ally's best friends and is 18 years old. She enjoys having a good time with friends and is very energetic. She is just like Ally and that is why they are such close friends. We chose Lauren to play Ashley because in real life she is actually Rachel's best friend.
Patty:
Patty does not fit in with others, is 17 years old, and is obsessed with Ally. She wants to ruin Ally's perfect life and gets extremely jealous very easily. She is a stalker and psycho. We chose Meredith to play Patty because she is a good actor and has a crazy side to her.
Rachel took on the main role for casting. She is the most creative out of our group. She decided to create interesting and unique characters for our film, which she did. I helped contribute to casting by giving Rachel some suggestions on characteristics for some characters and coming up with their names.
